Mill Creek Sketch and Paint

Come out and sketch and paint nature in the middle of the city!
My goal is to bring together artists of all levels who are passionate about art and our natural environment. Right in the heart of Edmonton we have this vast natural habitat called Mill Creek. Lets go explore, sketch, and paint the incredible landscapes, cityscapes and flora of Mill Creek Ravine. Regardless of skill level  anyone with an interest in art and natural habitat is welcome. These art adventures are informal where you can receive as much or as little instruction as you like.
This vast urban green belt offers a treasure trove of flora and fauna and features the Mill Creek running through it. Mill Creek also has a rich history dating back to the first settlers of Edmonton, and has survived several attempts at development which were spurned by protests to save this natural jewel. The North end of Mill Creek also offers vast views of the City Center nestled just above the river valley green belt. Perfect for painting and sketching.
Lets go explore Mill Creeks landscapes, cityscapes, botanical studies, and foliage with our pencils, pens, and paints!
