When I think of buildings I think of containers we work, live, and play in.
Stripped down they are basic geometric shapes. From the most basic structures built from wood and hands to engineered multi-material super structures like the 1483 ft Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur.
What I like about buildings big or small, simple or complex, is that they are all works of art. Built out from basic geometric shapes, each building has a story and tells a little or a lot about its inhabitants. Buildings since the beginning of civilization have been marvels of mankind with incredible feats of engineering, mixed with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears.
